Successful completion of apprenticeships at Paul Köster GmbH
Modern, practice-oriented training concept
Izabela Zelazo has never regretted starting her career with an internship and a well-founded apprenticeship, as she has now taken on a responsible position at Paul Köster GmbH immediately after successfully passing her exams. This underlines the modern training concept: “Of course, we also worked with test systems, but overall we were heavily involved in the normal day-to-day business.”
Julius Pinkvoß can also confirm this. The 19-year-old also successfully completed his 3.5-year apprenticeship as a precision mechanic specializing in mechanical engineering at the end of January. He originally wanted to become a cutting machine operator. “We go through all the departments during the apprenticeship and I quickly realized that I enjoyed screwing in fixture construction more. It was easy to switch, which I think is really good.” Carina Knipp also confirms that it is not uncommon for trainees to change jobs during their apprenticeship at Paul Köster GmbH. “This is possible for a relatively long time and shows how flexible our company and our training concept are in order to react quickly and unbureaucratically in the interests of our trainees.”
Paul Köster GmbH is very well positioned
The successful company history and the good order situation show that Paul Köster GmbH is very well positioned. “Of course, it is currently not easy for almost all companies to recruit young talent and skilled workers. In the end, it's satisfied trainees and positive word-of-mouth that counts. This is particularly important here in the countryside. That's why we focus on our good training concept. We also offer excellent prospects in view of the fact that automation will play an increasingly important role for our customers in the future and that we are at the forefront in this area,” emphasizes Carina Knipp.
This will also benefit the following trainees and dual students, who all successfully completed their training or dual studies on January 31, 2025:
Izabela Zelazo - Office management assistant
Julius Pinkvoß - Precision mechanic
Jannik Herrmann - Precision mechanic
Janis Lichte - Precision mechanic
Fabian Ernst - Precision mechanic
Jonathan Martin - Cutting machine operator
David Schmidtke - Metalworker
Joshua Lauschke - Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
Paul Köster GmbH still has vacancies for apprenticeships in a number of technical professions for the new training year starting in August 2025.
Carina Knipp is looking forward to receiving applications and will be happy to answer any questions!
